Bodleian Library
Oxford University has 38 colleges. Take a walk around the city and you will see colleges popping up all over the place. Many, such as the one in my photo look like little forts and you will only be able to sneak a leak at what is in the other side of the walls. Others will let you in, sometimes with an admission fee. But either way there are many secret nooks and crannies to be explored. Most colleges are made up of interlinked quadrangle or quads and feature both living accommodation and teaching facilities. Often both students and staff will live in a college. Photo 2 is the Bodleian Library – one of the most famous libraries in the world and a fun place to visit with 12 million books. So take a look and see what fun facts and secrets you can discover about the Oxford colleges.

Fun Fact: There is evidence of teaching at Oxford going back to 1096.
