I have always liked this photo because as you look through the old, what looks to be a castle, you see the juxtaposition with what appears to be something newer. Not only the golden clock poking out to the right, but also the contrast of the slightly dilapidated buildings in the background. I also like this photo because it isnβt blue sky and sunny; this was taken on a slightly chilly spring day in March. So the photo is actually one of the many spectacular views you can see from the ruins of Coventry Cathedral. If you get a chance to visit you will see what I mean. Wherever you look you see magnificent views through the damaged windows devoid of stained glass, many looking up to the sky. So check out the ruins of Coventry Cathedral with your camera and you wonβt be disappointed.

Fun Tip: Spend a day looking through ruined windows and travel five miles to Kenilworth Castle another attraction with wonderful views. See my post Kenilworth Castle for more information.
