🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 Beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Top pic is lovely Victoria, capital of BC and the largest city on the island, middle pic is the famous Butchart Gardens and the bottom pic is a inlet on the east coast, near the pretty town of Sydney. Living in northwest Oregon it is easy to travel up to Canada for a weekend or longer. Victoria is accessible from Port Angeles, Washington where you can put your car in the ferry. Seattle has just a four passenger ferry to Victoria. There are also a couple of ferry ports to the north of Seattle and of course you can go from Vancouver city to Vancouver Island. It is a beautiful place, Victoria has many interesting attractions, and the famous Empress hotel is right on the harbor.

Fun Fact: Vancouver Island has one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems, including rain forest, meadow, marsh, mountains, rivers and beaches. A very large number of animal species can be found in the island.
