Thirty Years Apart…

I thought I would do a comparison of Waimea Falls on Oahu, Hawaii, exactly thirty years apart. The picture on the left is 1988, the picture on the right 2018. Don’t they look similar? Really not much difference after thirty years. The only significant difference is that there were cliff divers in 1988, an attraction that was discontinued in the 1990’s. You can see some of them in the water in the photo on the left. Today though, it is possible for anyone to swim there, as long as a life jacket is worn.
