The new visitors center at the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Tillamook, Oregon has just reopened after a year long refurbishment. The two top pics are from the old visitor center and show how the cheese is made. It is a very popular and interesting place to visit while you are at the Oregon coast and now the new center will have much more. Besides seeing the cheese being made, try the Tillamook ice cream, or visit the store with all kinds of Oregon specialities as well as cheese and other Tillamook products. Fun Fact: Another interesting place to visit in Tillamook is the Air Museum (second picture) which has the world’s largest wooden aircraft hangar. For more on that see here.
