Today we have a little quiz! Of my seven photos today, which is the odd one out and why? Answers in my next post. Suffice to say there are more than 250 registered museums and art galleries in London. Many are free to enter. The top three by visitor numbers in 2016 were:
Tate Modern and Tate Britain – 6.7 million visitors.
British Museum 6 million visitors. (See also my post for secrets of the British Museum)
National Gallery – 3.9 million visitors.
Fun Tip: Visit the Geffrye Museum and see an interesting exhibition of living rooms and gardens from the 1600’s to the present in one of London’s less famous museums. It is free to enter.
