The Columbia River Gorge, Oregon today. The Columbia Gorge is a National Scenic Area. Famous for the Multnomah Falls, photo right, the Bonneville Fish Hatchery left and bottom photos and the Bonneville Dam – all adjacent to the Columbia River. All can be visited in a nice day out, find out about the life cycle of the Trout, check out the Falls and visit the fish counting station at the Bonneville Dam. If you have more time, take a trip along the Columbia on the Sternwheeler from Cascade Locks! These are are only a few things – check out this website for all the info.
Fun Tip: For a scenic drive follow the Mount Hood Scenic Route or the Lewis and Clark Scenic Byway. More info here.
