So today I thought I would try to make just one more ‘old’ postcard (see my postcard “West Wales” here for my first attempt). This time I found a photo of Florence, Italy and thought it would be fun to see if I could make something that looks a little vintage. Obviously you can’t go wrong because it is such a photogenic place but this I think looks pretty cool!

Fun Fact: There has been a church on the present site of the Duomo since the year 393 – what you see today is the second incarnation – and that was begun in the 12th century!
