San Diego, California

San Diego, California view

After not having traveled for over a year due to COVID, it was interesting to take a flight to San Diego, California to see how the travel experience had changed. We found that many people had the same idea and while some measures were in place mainly for unvaccinated people, the vaccinated had a free rein with few restrictions. The two best takeaways were that it was nice to feel normal again and that most attractions were open. The only difficulties we had were with some restaurants still closed in the Gaslamp district and our hotel’s lack of dining options especially during the week. A car is recommended and we found it invaluable for visiting all our destinations. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Below is a photo essay of San Diego based on our touristy trip!
