American vs. British words today…They say the US and Britain are two countries separated by a common language and if you look at links like this you might think that they really are…however there are still more similarities than differences – this website gives a few examples.

Fun Fact: While it was George Bernard Shaw who said the famous two countries divided by a common language quote, Oscar Wilde also said “We have really everything in common with America nowadays, except, of course, the language.”
