A beautiful sunset and a calm sea on the Isle of Wight. I am not sure what type of ship this is, but it could be a ferry. Anyway, this was taken from Shanklin on a summer evening. Fun Fact: The earliest recorded ferry trip between the mainland and the Isle of Wight was in 1420. Today three ferry companies make the 40 minute journey. Wightlink, one of the three ferry companies, transports 4.8 million people and 1.2 million cars every year.
